About Mrs. Ratzlaff
I love art and teaching, what a perfect career for me! I began my journey graduating from Regis University with a degree in Liberal Arts, focused in Education, Fine Arts, Sociology and Spanish. I started teaching 4th and 5th grades for 8 years in Westminster. After moving to Brighton I helped open West Ridge and began teaching 5th grade here. I became the art teacher seven years ago. I hold a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from Regis University. I have my Elementary Education License and Art Endorsement. Art Education is important for the West Ridge students to open their minds and think in a whole new way.
In my spare time I enjoy spending it with my husband and our 4 year old son. I love painting, cooking and traveling.
